United StatesVery pretty, needs altered
I'm THAT bride that is preparing for her wedding well in advance... I got engaged and ordered this in December '21, then received it April 1st '22. The Wedding Shoppe was right on with their estimated delivery date, so I knew that it was going to take that long. Once the dress was shipped, it arrived on priority mail and came within two to three days. The Arianna is very pretty! For an affordable wedding dress, it's gorgeous and detailed. The lace is indeed delicate without looking or feeling cheap or flimsy. Not pictured is how much sparkle is in the tulle - glitter was coming off this thing like no tomorrow! The glitter is a lovely touch, but you shed a ton of it as you walk. The fit on stomach-to-hip is perfect on me - I have a tummy and love how this sits snug without being tight or clingy. The length is decent, given that I'm a short 5-foot-1. The dress is breathable and it's easy to gather up the train for ease of movement. Said train is long enough to add a touch of elegant drama without being a high-maintenance endeavor - however, the fabric attracts and traps dust, dirt, and hair in its mesh-like layers, so gliding the train across unvacuumed carpet is a no-no unless you want to spend a long time picking lint off your wedding dress. My main complaint is the way the bust cups/back/straps fit. That section is so attractive, but the open back doesn't fit against my skin and sits blown open. Zipped and hooked, here's no tension to support my chest and the straps slip down my shoulders (they are not adjustable.) I'm sure a quick alteration at a local tailor can fit this specifically to my measurements - of course, without ordering a dress with custom dimensions, there's no way to ensure a perfect fit. I ordered a year ahead of my wedding, so I have time to make the Arianna completely mine. For the price, I am thrilled with this dress and truly feel like a princess in it. I would recommend this item to any bride on a budget and would order from The Wedding Shoppe again.
